’tis time to discuss our token sale.

Top of the morning to y’all!

We at memeunity are super excited to kick off the new year with a shitload of ambition, and we’ve got our eyes set towards making 2021 the year where memeunity comes to light with one hell of a launch.

But that’s not why you came to read this article, eh? We know. You wanna know what we’ve got in mind with the token sale, and how we’re planning to raise our funds. You probably also want to know why the hell we want to raise ~$800,000 in the first place. Well, read on, and you’ll find all the information you need, good sirs and ma’ams.

  • Token Sale Details:

We’ll hold our token sale over 3 different rounds. It goes like this:

1. Seed (Private) Round — $0.06 / 1 DANK:

Tokens for sale: 3,000,000 DANK

Soft cap: $25,000 / Hard Cap: $180,000

Minimum Investment: $1,000

This round will cover the very early funding stage. We’ll require those funds to boost our marketing efforts to increase the odds of having a successful presale round and conclude our public sale with ease! It’s a critical funding round for us, which is why investors from this phase receive a 40% total discount on the token’s listing price, in addition to having exclusive perks in our staking program with Ferrum Network, as they receive 50% more tokens and 2 extra NFT cards that are guaranteed to be higher in value than common cards. There’s also a special NFT card for them that they can use in our NFT Market Platform, and a special thank you gift to use on our platform when it launches. Private round starts as of the publishing of this article.

2. Presale Round — $0.08 / 1 DANK:

Tokens for sale: 3,000,000 DANK

Soft cap: $100,000 / Hard Cap: $240,000

Minimum Investment: $500

The presale round will help us get ready for the final battle, which is our public sale round. Early investors at this stage will receive a 20% discount on the token’s listing price, and they will have 25% more tokens from our staking program with Ferrum Network, in addition to one extra NFT card with higher value than common cards. They will also receive a special NFT card from our team that they can use on our NFT Market platform, as well as a special thank you from us that they can use on our platform. Some of those funds will also be directed towards early stage development expenses. We will announce the date of the presale round as soon as we can.

3. Public Round — $0.1 / 1 DANK:

Tokens for sale: 4,000,000 DANK

Soft cap: $150,000 / Hard Cap: $400,000

Minimum Investment: $50

Our final funding round, where we brace ourselves! In this round, every single investor will receive a special thank you gift from the MU team when the platform launches, as well as a special NFT card that they’ll be able to use on our NFT Market platform. Public sale’s date is after the conclusion of our presale round, which we’ll reveal once we can.

  • Funding Requirements Explanation

If you found out about us 2 months ago, you’d be surprised by the fact that we originally wanted to raise around 30 million dollars to make this project a reality. Before you quit your browser and throw your laptop off the window, hear us out: we’re building one of the most complex concepts that have ever been created, because if you read our Whitepaper, you’d know that memeunity isn’t just your average social network. If this was just a “funny” Facebook, we’d literally be good with raising $50k in that case.

But it’s not.

What memeunity is, is that it will have an extremely unique algorithm system to manage the content, an NFT system put in place that links the memes you post and generates cards for them, which rise in value if your meme gains traction, and it keeps rising the more it gains more.

It’s also got our customizable Memo characters, a ton of customizable features to the interface, a self-learning algorithm that learns your behaviour and sends you random events as you browse the platform to keep you entertained and happy, and, well, that’s the tip of the iceberg.

Add to that the fact that we need to create iOS and Android versions, have them perfectly optimized, and there’s also the chance of us needing to make one for HarmonyOS devices too if we appeal to the Asian (Chinese in particular) audience. Now let that sink in, and then take a deep breath because we’re also not just working on memeunity.

There are 4 other meme-related projects that we plan on building after memeunity has been completed, one’s a browser-based game similar to Animals Crossing, but is all about meme characters with minor RPG elements. You’ll be able to play that game through our app and platform, another’s a card game, then there’s a VR based game/software hybrid, and finally a AAA RPG game that’s also based in our memeverse, as we call it. Unfortunately, due to the current state of the market, we learned that we won’t be able to raise our overly ambitious funding goals, but we also realized that our project is lovable, and our vision is shared by millions, if not billions of people, and we’ll capitalize on that instead.

Meaning that our goal is to build a humble version of memeunity first, gain traction, generate revenue from the platform, and then use that to upgrade it into the badass platform we’ve got in mind. Live to fight another day rather than sink the ship before it sails!

So now you understand why we need ~$800,000. If we were to raise less than that, it will make our kickstart so much harder, and it will slow our progress down, or force us to create an awful version of the project in its early stage and pray to the meme Gods that we somehow generate revenue and gain traffic on it. This is a loss for both us and our investors.

We pride ourselves in community collaborations and honesty. Integrity is key to making this project work, and since we’re trying to take down the kings of social media: Facebook & Twitter, we can’t go to war with just the team of memeunity, because it’s a certain defeat. And yes, we need to go to war with them, because memeunity may be built to offer a safe haven for those with social anxiety, but it’s also an example of what social media should look like, and we hope that by the time it’s built, and if it succeeds, that it could show everyone that we can build alternatives to Facebook & Twitter that are so much better without selling out their users data and privacy.

memeunity out.
